Not Really Here For Healing

Kendall the Gardevoir stepped into the cave, seeing the Charizard at the back. "Excuse me, sir? Sorry to interrupt. Are you busy? Should I come back later?" she asked, hoping not to upset someone she was speaking to for the first time.

Forky wrinkled his nose when he heard the Gardevoir speak, turning his head a little and squinting back in an attempt to get a good look at her. When that didn't really work, he grunted and slowly turned himself around, his flaming tail waving dangerously close to some of his Berries. The Charizard squinted again, tapping his cane lightly on the stone floor. "Yes? What do you want? You don't look too hurt to me, so that means yer probably gonna waste my time, an' I ain't got much time left. Make it quick, girlie."

"I'm sorry, I don't want to bother you, Mister, but I figured I should keep some berries around the house in case someone gets hurt, and, um, I've been working on some food recipes but I never have much luck finding them on my own," she rambled, obviously intimidated by the old Charizard.

"Whazzat? Ya want food?" The old Charizard ambled closer to her so he could hear her better, his head tilted in confusion. He craned his neck forward, snorting a puff of smoke out of his nostrils as he looked her up and down. "You're gonna hafta speak up, girlie, my hearing ain't what it used to be. This ain't no restaurant, I don't have an all-you-can-eat buffet. I got a heck of a lot of Berries, though, if ya wanna go out an' find 'em yerself."

"I need some berries for healing, and I'd like any extras you'd care to give me," she clarified.
